Neither Hot Nor Cold

If you look at Balance Scales & Railway Hand Cars, what I am trying to get across is a very simple distinction between balance scales (balance, moderation, middle paths) and railway handcars (encouragement and exploitation of inner [and outer] polarities). It’s the difference between exploiting the contrast between black and white and mixing them together to tone down the contrast, leaving you with kind of a dull grey. Some people prefer that I guess, just as some people prefer lukewarm tea, but in any case the dull grey is a visual equivalent of lukewarm tea. To steal the quote Khaos posted in a discussion about that…

“You are neither cold nor hot. So because you are lukewarm, I will spew you out of my mouth.”
~Bill the Butcher
