I like the sentiment that optimism ought to accompany a vision. You really do have to be bound and determined to make it happen and bring it to life. You’ve got to be ruthless. You could describe optimism as good morale on an individual level, and actualization as victory. Few people fight a war they’re convinced they are going to lose, after all. However, having said that, a Sith would fight anyways, and win anyways; hope, optimism, morale… they can be crutches, and those that possess strength worth noting can realize their ambitions in a hopeless situation, in a pit of despair, and in the absence of morale.
A true Sith is one of the few.
